REMARKETING

Continue the conversation with a relevant message.

We plan remarketing around what someone has already done, what they may need next, and whether the audience can be used appropriately on the chosen platform.

A past visit does not tell the whole story.

A visitor reading a guide, someone comparing a product, and an existing customer may all appear in a broad website audience. Showing them the same message ignores the different reasons they arrived. We start by defining the audience behavior and the purpose of the next contact.

That purpose might be to explain a service in more detail, answer a product question, or remind an interested shopper of an offer that is still available. We also identify people who should be excluded, such as customers who have already completed the intended action where the available data supports that distinction.

Check the data and permissions before planning reach.

We review how the audience is created, what consent or permission applies, and which platform rules affect its use. Website tags, customer data, and platform engagement sources have different requirements. The setup must reflect the site’s actual consent approach and the intended use of the information.

Audience size and eligibility may limit what can run. We explain those constraints before recommending a campaign. A business with little traffic may gain more from improving acquisition or the website than from building a complicated remarketing plan.

Match the message to the remaining question.

We develop creative around the information that may help someone move forward. A service visitor might need to understand the consultation process. A product shopper may need clearer delivery or compatibility information. The destination should resolve that question, rather than repeat a generic homepage message.

Our ad creative and landing page work can support those steps. We use approved product and service details, with no invented urgency or availability. The campaign should remain accurate as the offer changes.

Plan exclusions and refreshes as ongoing work.

We consider how long an audience remains relevant to the offer and how completed actions affect eligibility. Those decisions vary with the buying cycle. A short-term event and a considered professional engagement should not automatically use the same sequence.

We review delivery and repetition where the platform provides that information and control. Persistent exposure is not the same as useful persuasion. Creative refreshes and audience changes should follow observed response and the customer’s likely situation.

Interpret results alongside the other channels.

People receiving remarketing may already know the business from search advertising, organic search, referrals, or email. We explain attribution settings and avoid treating every attributed conversion as a sale that could only have happened because of the remarketing ad.

Where the account and data support a meaningful comparison, we can discuss a test designed to improve our understanding of additional value. Where they do not, we state the limits and review the campaign as part of the wider journey. Budget decisions should reflect that uncertainty.

Remarketing questions.

Can you advertise to everyone who visits our site?

Not necessarily. Consent, platform rules, technical setup, audience eligibility, and user choices affect who can be included. We inspect those conditions before recommending a campaign.

Should we show a discount to every returning visitor?

Only if the offer makes commercial sense and fits your strategy. A clearer explanation may be more useful than a discount. We consider margins, existing customers, and the message the promotion sends about the brand.

Is remarketing the same as an email follow-up?

No. Email automation uses a separate permission and contact process. The two can reinforce one another, but their audiences, delivery, and measurement need to be planned individually.

What is the first step?

Share the offer, website, current platforms, and how inquiries or purchases are recorded. We can then assess whether there is a suitable audience and a worthwhile next message. Discuss the setup with us.
